Orientation program actions

Day 1 Guests will be met by a crewmember in uniform at the Providenciales (PLS) International Airport and transferred to the yacht. Guests may board Saturday between 3 pm – 6 pm. At 6 pm the yacht departs for its night anchorage to prepare for diving Sunday morning.
Day 2-6 Sunday – Thursday: Diving continues

After a full week of diving, the yacht returns to Turtle Cove Marina Friday after lunch. Friday evening the yacht hosts a sunset cocktail party. Turtle Cove Marina has several restaurants where guests can eat. Friday night dinner is not included in the price of the charter.
 Day 8
Check-out is Saturday morning at 8 am. Transportation is provided back to the airport Saturday morning.

Turks & Caicos

The beautiful Turks & Caicos Aggressor II offers guests a week of thrilling wall diving along the coasts of Providenciales, West Caicos and French Caye. The sheer walls of Providenciales begin at 40 feet, plunging into the deep blue abyss and include crevasses and ledges that are decorated with huge orange Elephant Ear sponges, Gorgonians, Crimson Rope Sponges and abundant macro life. The tinerary April through December departs from Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands.

The Turks & Caicos Islands consist of 40 islands and cays, eight of which are inhabited. The native language is English and the official currency is the US dollar.

Getting There, Passports & Visa Documentation:

The Turks & Caicos islands are a British territory and  located 575 miles southeast of Miami, Florida, just below the Bahamas chain and just to the east of Cuba and is island of Hispaniola (Dominican Republic and Haiti).

The major airlines that service Providenciales  (PLS) International Airport are: American, Delta, Spirit, Jet Blue and US Airways.

Visitors must have a current passport, adequate funds to support themselves, and a return airline ticket. US citizens require a passport that must be valid for 6 months from date of entry. It is the travelers’ responsibility to ensure they have the proper visa to travel into each country on his or her itinerary as well as for re-entry and return to their country. Since regulations vary by country, contact your consulate or embassy of your country for the requirement.

Taxes & Fees:

USD $99 (7 nights) and $142 (10 nights)  bed tax paid onboard, airport transfers included in charter rate on day of arrival and departure.

 

Diving Environment:

Accommodations:

The Turks & Caicos Aggressor II is a beautiful 120-foot yacht, designed and powered for comfort, safety and stability. She is diesel-powered, cruises at 10 knots and has 110-volt power on board. Accommodations include six Deluxe staterooms, each having a double and single berth with ensuite bath and flat screen TV and DVD player, two Single-Share staterooms each with two single berths that share a bathroom/head between the two staterooms with flat screen TV & DVD player and one Master suite for couples that has one large double bed with ensuite bath and a flat screen TV and DVD player.

She features a roomy, air conditioned salon and dining area, sun deck complete with a hot tub, lounge and deck chairs, stereo and CD player (has an IPod plug-in), shaded wet bar and grill, a complete photo center with a digital video and still photo editing computer. Diving amenities include Nitrox (unlimited Nitrox is $100 per week), individual dive lockers, camera table with low-pressure air hoses, and two hot, fresh water showers. Custom-designed chase boats with outboard motor are available for shore excursions.

The Turks & Caicos Aggressor II has a safe aboard to store valuables such as passports, cash, credit cards or anything else you would like to store. The yacht is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items. We highly recommend extremely caution and care be taken if you plan to travel onboard with electronic equipment. (laptops, ipads, iPods etc) This equipment should always be stowed after use to avoid the risk of damage.

Dining:

The menu onboard is varied and plentiful, with a variety of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine. If you have any special dietary requirements, please be sure these are noted when completing the GIS. You will awaken to fresh fruits, hot entrees, cereals and juices. Lunches are buffet-style, featuring hot soups, homemade breads, salads and sandwiches and/or entrees. Chef prepared dinners are seated and served each evening including: salads, vegetables, seafood, beef or chicken with a fresh homemade dessert. Once onboard, please speak to the chef about any special needs. Certain special dietary and beverage requests may not be available due to the remote nature of this location.

The Aggressor’s selection includes fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine, which are complimentary. Due to the high duty charged on liquor, we suggest you bring your special brand from the U.S. or last duty free point. Drinking and diving do not mix. Once you consume alcohol, you become a snorkeler until the next day.

Diving:

The crew of the Turks & Caicos Aggressor II, with their unique combination of talents, offers the ultimate service. While onboard, you may pick a buddy of your choice, or dive with one of the crewmembers. The yacht offers up to five dives per day (2 on the last day) including night dives.

There is ample storage space for your diving equipment in your personal locker. The Turks & Caicos Aggressor II provides 80 cubic ft. tanks, weight belts and weights. The stern and platform area is very spacious. The boarding ladders were designed for convenience to allow divers easy entries and exits. Enjoy fresh water showers on the back deck after your dives and dry off with a warm towel.

All diving onboard the Turks & Caicos Aggressor II should be within the limits and standards of the training agency that certified you. All dives should be planned no decompression dives.
